 Learner Support


The Role of Learner Support is to:


 - Provide support to students with short and long term learning difficulties.

 - Assess student's needs and abilities.

 - Plan, carry out and monitor individual programmes for students with severe learning difficulties.

 - Assist teaching staff through the classroom placement of Teacher Aides.

 - Organise specialist materials to help reinforce lessons.

 - Consult with parents and caregivers.

 - Offer one-to-one and small group support to students in class and out of class.

 - Liaise with support agencies providing services to students and teaching staff.
