Fees and Charges

Donation- Charged in equal parts to each student in a family
In spite of rising costs the Board has not increased the amount of the School Donation which we are asking of you. In view of the many other financial pressures on families, but we do ask that you give serious consideration to paying the Donation as stated, as the Board relies heavily upon these parent contributions. We issue Tax Donation Receipts on request soon after the 31st March each year. Recent changes in IRD legislation mean that you can claim back 1/3 of all Donations made, so please ask for your receipt.

Class Materials Charges
Not all classes have a Materials charge. Those that do are the subjects that have a small 'z' after the Subject code on a student's timetable or options list and appear in the section marked Class Materials Fees.

Subjects with additional costs-e.g. trips

Although the subjects for these will also have a small 'z' after the Subject code on a student's timetable or options list, if their charge appears in the section of the List of Fees and Charges** marked "Subjects with additional costs"- Payment may not be due at the same time as class materials fees. You will receive a permission slip and further information closer to the time of these trips. which will include their payment due date. You may of course, choose to pay them at the same time as the Class Materials fees but this is not a requirement.** See below under Resources

Sports Fees
Each Sporting code has its own fee. These fees will be advised by the Sports Department, at the time the students are making their ports selections. These fees are payable upon registration for the chosen sport. Non-payment of these fees will mean exclusion from the sport.

 Year 10 Camp
As part of the school curriculum, all Year 10 pupils attend a compulsory three day camp at Waharau Outdoor Education Centre. Those senior students who assist with this camp will also have a small fee to cover the cost of food, but theirs will be charged (and payable) before the end of Term 4.

See the Link under Resources for 2012 Fees & Automatic Payment and Internet Banking Information.
If you already have, or are considering setting up, an Automatic Payment you might like to use the AP Calculator tool to work out how much and at what frequency the AP will need to be to clear Fees by the end of the Financial Year (31 December).

If you cannot access the tool please contact us and we will calculate for you:
