Dealing with Change

At Rosehill College we celebrate the fact that we live in a world of change. We will continue to evaluate the way we work, and our systems and our infrastructure to ensure that we respond as well as we can to a dynamic environment.

When we focus on changes we will

  1. Ensure to the best of our ability that the proposed changes will improve the learning environment for students;
  2. Consult as widely as we reasonably can to give all those who have a stake in the issues a voice;
  3. Recognise that differences of opinion are normal, healthy, to be encouraged and to be respected, and that we will be able to share them in a professional manner;
  4. Accept that in a large organisation such as this one it is certain that some decisions may not be wholly to our liking. We will, nevertheless, accept them because we had the opportunity to be part of the consultative process – we had our say.

Dealing with change will involve making constant judgement calls. We will make mistakes from time to time! We can learn from mistakes, and our commitment to self review will ensure that we don’t repeat the same mistake.
