Rosehill College Information

Rosehill College is a coeducational state school in Papakura, about 25 minutes drive south of Auckland city centre in New Zealand. This is on the urban edge of greater Auckland. Students at the college are from rural as well as urban areas.

The college has 1846 students and 164 staff. Rosehill College is a college which prides itself on its academic and pastoral achievements.

Our mission statement 'Together we provide an environment for excellence' is something we like to think we live by on a daily basis.

To ensure that all students feel part of the College and have an ongoing academic and pastoral support, we have a strong House system. This House system is supported by strong student support facilities with two full-time counsellors, a kaimanaaki, a nurse and a resource teacher of learning and behaviour.

The school currently operates an enrolment scheme to ensure that we do not become overcrowded. The enrolment scheme and the prospectus together provide information about enrolment procedures. Buses are available within the school zone.

Fee-paying overseas students and exchange students are welcome although a strictly limited number of places are available.

Rosehill College is committed to the use of ICT in teaching programmes. It was the lead school in a Ministry of Education contract to provide ICT Professional Development to teachers in the Rosehill Cluster recently.

The latest ERO (Education Review Office) accountability review of the college was very good.
