CAREERS

WHAT WE DO:

  • Give information on different career ideas.
  • Have internet access to Career Quest- a computer database which provides information on jobs and courses.
  • Provide information and entry requirements for all universities, polytechnics, private training providers and Youth Training courses.
  • Provide an indication of costs for students attending tertiary education.
  • Can offer assistance/guidance on preparing CVs.
  • Offer lunchtime seminars by visiting Liaison Officers.
  • Help you use the facilities in the Careers Centre.
  • Offer advice on job applications and interview preparation.

When is it open?

The Careers Centre is open during normal school hours, including interval and lunchtime.

Where is the Careers Centre?

The Careers Centre is located at the far end of the Library and is entered through the Library.

If you need to speak to the Careers Adviser about career planning and your future options you need to make an appointment by filling in an interview request form, available in the Careers area.
