Referral Process

 
Referring a student

If teachers have a concern about the learning or behaviour of a student in their class, they need to consult with the HOD or the HOH who will complete the referral form and pass it to me. The referral form can be found under "Referral Resources" on this page.

Referring a teacher/whole class

If HODs or HOHs are concerned about the teaching or behaviour management skills of a teacher or about the behaviour of a whole class, they can make a referral for support for that teacher/class. No form is required to be completed for this service in the case of a single teacher wanting support.

If the teacher is already receiving support from other colleagues, the RTLB services may be used to provide support in a particular area at a time when other colleagues may not be available, such as during teaching time.

Self-referral

If a teacher is concerned about the behaviour of his/her class and wants some suggestions or support, the teacher may contact me directly in person, by phone (xt 873) or by email (b.legrice@rosehill-college.co.nz).
