During the year you will be assessed in a variety of ways to determine how your understanding and skills are progressing in order to gain information for reporting on your abilities. This occurs in two ways – a formal assessment programme including end of topic tests, assessment of essential science skills throughout the year and an informal assessment programme based on assignment work, homework activities, practicals etc. You will also complete research and ICT based tasks during the year.
