Performing Arts Technology explores backstage technology & design in the theatre e.g Costume Design, Make up Design, Lighting Design. There is also one acting performance standard, so that you can experience life on-stage as well as behind the scenes.
Performing Arts Technology is a NCEA course, based around unit standards. All your assignments will gain you unit standard credits and NCEA marks if completed to the required level.
If you are absent for any assessment, or are unable to hand in an assignment due to illness, you must supply a doctor’s certificate.
You are expected to put effort and energy into this subject — PAT is a course involving lots of practical work, which will require extra time and input.
