Q: THEATRESPORTS REFLECTION QUESTIONS

(Write in full sentences)

1) mention one thing you did well in theatresports and say why you did it well…One thing that I did well was I created and accepted offers well (well I think I did) Clear skill identified Because I think that when I had to go in as second person I thought of the idea of leap frog, and when Kelly came in and said, “You can’t go through it, can’t go over it” I accepted and went around. Specific example given

2) mention one thing you found difficult and say why you found it difficult. Give one way you would try to do better next time _Just jumping in and saying an idea, as soon as it comes into my head. Difficulty is explained and is relevant to the theatresports skills. I found this difficult because I wasn’t sure if my ideas would work. Why it is difficult is explained. I could improve this by just doing it and making it work. Student has set a clear goal for improvement. All sections of this question are answered.

3) mention one new group skill you learned__Going with the flow and accepting offers that are given to me and expanding them. The new skill is identified but a specific example should be given.

4) mention one thing that was difficult about working with the group and say how you think this could be improved next time.__Thinking up ideas that could be advanced next time round and thinking up ideas on that next time round. By thinking ahead I could improve this. This doesn’t quite answer the question. It identifies a difficulty, but does not relate it to the group.

5) explain your favourite theatresports game to someone who has never played it before_

· You have four people in a group.

· Number each other 1-4.

· The first person jumps in and gets an “ask for” and then acts until someone says space jump.

· Second person jumps in and creats an idea from how the first person was frozen.

· Third person does he same.

· Fourth person does the same.

· Work backwards so you go back to previous scene, until the first person is the only person on stage.

· The first person has to work out how to get off stage.

Explanation of the game is broken down into clear logical steps
